you are seagreen
#2E8B57

Your dominant hues are cyan and green. Although you definately strive to be logical you care about people and know there’s a time and place for thinking emotionally. Your head rules most things but your heart rules others, and getting them to meet in the middle takes a lot of your energy some days.

Your saturation level is higher than average – You know what you want, but sometimes know not to tell everyone. You value accomplishments and know you can get the job done, so don’t be afraid to run out and make things happen.

Your outlook on life can be bright or dark, depending on the situation. You are flexible and see things objectively.

Falling Green Back

Wednesday, October 10th, 2007

So Peace Corps Volunteers receive Newsweeks, or at least we do in Kenya. And in the newsweeks they will have at least 3 economic articles (written by the same 3 guys) and these articles cover the same topics generally (the falling greenback, china rising, and other subjects.) Now due to my lack of economic education I can not vouch for the accuracy of the articles. The articles on the falling greenback usually have the idea that it is fantastic for the world economoy to have a weak dollar. Which may be true but when you are a volunteer receiving a portion of your living allowance in Dollars, it is not so fantastic. My monthly living allowance continues to go down, and possible related but basic commodities are in turn increasing. Fascinating no?

In the end I did not join Peace Corps for the money, it makes life a little more interesting.
