So I have been hearing some individuals are interested in hearing about what is going on with Peace Corp.
Well I am on to the third/fourth stage now, if you can call it that, first is the preliminary packet you send out for, it kind of reminded me of a college application packet. Then came the in person interview with a Peace Corp recruiter. Mine is Clara Morris, she served two years in Eastern Europe and now works for the Denver Peace Corp office. I was lucky, usually the potential candidates have to go to the regional offices, but she happen to be coming to Wichita on a recruiting drive, so I was able to do my interview here. Third after the interview I got another packet of information, preliminary medical information, background check, region of preference, etc. After that is all sent in is the fourth stage where you have your full medical history done. Doctors and dentist, optometrist(?) if needed. Well that is where I am at. If anyone knows what a whisper test is please inform me, it is something that is required, but no one seems to know what it is. And for Mom I found my little Hepatitis B card that WSU gave me here, so you can stop looking.
