The end of Spring Break is upon us and I HAVE to go back to work.
Though not the most rock’n awesome spring break I have ever had there were some highlights…
1. Mom, Dad, Adam and Seth came up on saturday and sunday. We really didn’t do much though, I beat Adam in Smash Brothers a couple times. We also had a huge hassle with dinner…in the end we just got pizzas from Wal-Mart, which to be honest I preferred.
2. From monday through wednesday I did absolutely nothing…However Battlestar Galactica Season 3 came out tuesday night! Amber and I have already finished it, it is totally worth it by the way.
3. Amber took half of thursday off, we got our haircut, I lost my luxurious locks…Amber told me if I got my hair cut she wouldn’t make me cut it again until August. We relaxed for the rest of the afternoon and planned out our adventurous weekend.
4. We decided to get out of Colby for awhile and took a trip to Denver. Our first stop, of course was the Denver museum of Nature and Science. A majority of the museum was taxidermy exhibits, but there were a couple other interesting things on display, such as the prehistoric adventure.
5. Our other stop was Flat Iron Crossing mall, this mall is a gigantic half inside half outside monstrosity. Just being able to walk around a mall was pretty great and there were a bunch of things to see. Speaking of, we went to see Drillbit Taylor, it was surprisingly funny and it also had a cameo of Jayne, literally Jayne from Firefly.
That is about it, right now I am sitting in front of the TV worrying about school tomorrow. It is hard to believe I have already been through 3/4 of the school year.
